Mario is just an urban cockroach making his way thru New York City.  

Mario is a little art project that started as a joke between me and the staff at Juilliard. He morphed into a full on installation art project.  Each week I would come up with a way to “one-up” what I did the week before. Mario was placed in Stairwell B where he loitered for about 3 years. I continued Mario as a photo project after I left and I still come up with Mario ideas and pics from time to time.
